The online (120 hours) course was very well organized. It’s divided into 12 core modules with 2 bonus modules at the end. The bonus modules were on teaching youngsters and teaching business English. It’s a Fully Accredited TEFL & TESOL course, which means the quality level of the content and support was high. Every time I asked a question, I got a reply within minutes or a few hours max.

My online tutor looked after me throughout the course and also helped me with my job search after I completed the course. There was no extra charge for this and it made the transition from course completion to starting a teaching job smooth.

The thing that stood out for me about the course was that there wasn’t one exam at the end. Instead, there were multiple-choice quizzes after each module (they were fun to do) and these helped me remember the content of the modules much better than if I had waited until the end of the course to be tested. Plus, I hate all-or-nothing exams at the end of courses.

I’m teaching online for the time being and that’s going well. The money is good and I’m able to arrange my students so that I don’t have any long periods in the day when I’m waiting from one lesson finishing to the next one starting. This frees up a lot of my time that would otherwise be spent in limbo.

Great experience with tefl online pro. They have consistently good customer reviews and I understand why. The course is structured well and there is a lot of support. Anytime I messaged them I got a reply almost immediately. This is exactly what you want in an online training course. The job support at the end of the course was excellent. I wanted to start out teaching online and then transition to offline teaching. tefl online pro helped me create my resume and my cover letter. They also put me in touch with online companies that their graduates had personal experience working for. I chose to teach for Cambly because they offered me the best starting rate and the most convenient hours. It didn’t take long to get the job. Why I chose the TEFL Online Pro program.

1. It is a highly-rated online TEFL/TESOL course.
2. The TEFL Online Pro course is fully accredited. This means that the course meets strict standards of quality and professionalism and that graduates of the course are highly sought after by employers all over the world.

4. The cost of the course was reasonable, considering it included 24/7 dedicated tutor support and post-course job assistance. My tutor was available to answer any questions or concerns that I had, as well as provide feedback on lesson plans and teaching materials. The tutor came across as highly experienced and qualified. My job assistance support person was also highly knowledgeable and was available around the clock to answer the many questions I had.
5. The back and forth with the school when I had a question was excellent. I got an almost instant reply every time.
6. The course is designed to be flexible, allowing students to complete it at their own pace. There are no strict deadlines or schedules, and I could study whenever I had time, making it ideal for me because I was working full time and had other commitments.

The course is divided into twelve modules, covering all aspects of teaching English as a foreign language, including grammar, phonology, lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching techniques. Cons:

The course provides a solid foundation for teaching, and this was noted when I began interviewing for jobs and when the questions I was asked were information I remembered from the course. As a result, I could answer all the interviewers’ questions and they were impressed with my TEFL knowledge.

I am traveling and teaching (online) and this seems to be the sweet spot for me.

If you want the experience of teaching in a classroom full of students, definitely teach in person. You might get lucky and work under a good manager, or you might not. You might also have to do a lot of non-paid work, such as marking homework and attending stupid school events that often make no sense. So there are pros and cons there too.

If you just want to travel and earn money as you nomad your way around the world, I would recommend teaching online. I teach for a few schools so I don’t have all my eggs in the same basket. For me, the pros far outweigh any cons of teaching online. I didn’t give up my job just to go work for someone else. Technically, I do work for the people who own the online schools I teach for, but they rarely bother me.

If I ever find a place where I want to settle, I will strongly consider teaching at a school. I’ll just be super choosy about the working conditions.

Until then, I am 100% satisfied with teaching English online from any place where I currently find myself.

I enrolled in the Professional 120-hour course after exhaustive research. There are many courses out there – I chose TEFL Online Pro because of their excellent ratings and reviews and because of the structure of the course.

It has 14 modules and is very easy to follow. Instructions are clear and straightforward – you know what is expected at the start of each one and what the subject matter is. They are put together well and are logically structured – structured so they gradually become more challenging and complex as you move through the course. This was a productive way to learn and an enjoyable experience.

One of the things I liked is that you answer a quiz (test) after each module and receive your results immediately – you can see where your mistakes are (if any) and proceed to the next lesson. No waiting and wondering how you did and no final big test at the end!

There are also two assignments (Modules 6 and 11) where you get to create a demo lesson plan based on the skills you’ve acquired and I was pleasantly surprised at the VERY prompt tutor feedback. Giving positive and practical corrections and recommendations to errors I made gave me useful insight into my progress and a better understanding of the real-world application of the course materials.

This made it seem all very real for me.

I am very excited to start teaching and hope to deliver quality work to my English learners!

Overall, TEFL Online Pro fully met my expectations and I would gladly recommend this course. I give them a rating of 4+ out of 5 stars. Thank you!

First time taking a training course online and it was great! Superb content with a fun multiple-choice quiz to complete each module before going onto the next one. I loved the support too! I had questions and they all got answered within a few minutes via the course messaging system. My tutor also took the time to give thorough feedback on my two (Module 6 and 11) lesson plans, which you submit via email to TEFL Online Pro.

I opted for the digital certificate and it was issued to me barely 24 hours after I’d completed the course. Came with a letter of recommendation too! The course certificate has its own unique number and looks so professional that I can understand why it is accepted worldwide. It doesn’t mention that the course was taken online and does include the logo of both the school and the accreditation body that fully accredits this program.

Post-course, I asked about teaching English options in Japan. Paul, the Operations Manager at the school, arranged for a Skype online chat so that I could ask all the questions I was wanting to find answers to. Currently applying to a number of schools in Tokyo. Two concrete job offers so far!

Also love that the certificate can be used for online teaching because I might want to teach some classes online in addition to my in-person hours.

There is no question that TEFL Online Pro is an awesome TEFL company, and I see now why so many of their graduates consider them a 5-star company. First of all, the support is fabulous. Not only when I was deciding which course to take, but also during the course and after the course too. Every email I sent was answered in a matter of minutes, or (at most) in a matter of a few hours. Getting access to the course was straightforward to receive a password and username to access the course after you make your course purchase, and then you can access the course right away. I do agree with some of the reports that the first module is way too easy, but the remaining 13 were extremely well-presented modules that have been written and designed with the focus of not drowning you with TMI at once. I learned about tenses, phonetics, classroom management, and other topics presented in a user-friendly format each one ending in a fun multiple-choice quiz. I received my course certificate on the day I completed the course! This was just another way in which TEFL Online Pro excelled. Paul was my designated job guidance support person and his advice was incredibly useful. Really. If it weren’t for his help, it would have taken me far longer to begin teaching. I enrolled in the course on September 5th, completed the course on September 21st, received my certificate on September 21st, and began teaching on September 28th. I couldn’t have asked for more. I’m just so pleased that I chose this course over the others I was thinking about taking instead. If I had to describe TEFL Online Pro in one word, it would be Exceptional. I had a great experience with this online program!

The consistent proactive feedback and support from my online tutor helped a lot as I navigated the first few modules (I was completely new to TEFL) and the feedback and advice from my tutor, when I was creating my lesson plans (coursework assignments), were also excellent. Having that 24/7 support was so empowering for me and helped me feel prepared to teach English.

The fully accredited TEFL/TESOL 120-Hour (Professional) course is probably the course that most people will want to choose to take because this is the number of hours that all of the teaching job offers I saw requested.

After the course, the program has job advisors at your disposal, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is included in the price of the TEFL training course.

I had help contacting online schools that were at the time in the hiring process and these are some of the biggest names in the online teaching field. Having them give my TEFL certificate the green light only reinforced the idea that I had chosen the right program to take my TEFL/TESOL certification with.

I was teaching online but now have the plan to start teaching English in Spain over the summer and the jobs support is still as excellent now as it was when I was enquiring about online teaching opportunities.

TEFL Online Pro will answer any questions you have about teaching, and give great advice about living in a new country. This includes recommending schools they have had their graduates teach at, who can vouch for the school. It also includes schools that are not recommended to teach, for specific reasons.

I passed the TEFL Online Pro 120-hour course in December. It took me 2 weeks to complete. TEFL Online Pro made the study process effortless by keeping me motivated with helpful reminders and timely feedback. This was great because I got the benefits of learning online while still feeling connected to the teacher. I was surprised when they asked me to resubmit my first lesson plan, but glad they did as it revealed a rigor to their grading process that I needed. The course purchase price was within my budget, though I think they could do more to help lower-income students. I requested financial aid but was told they don’t offer this. Still, the program was reasonable, the tutors were all expert, knowledgeable, and helpful. Many reviews of this program point to fast response times in communication and this was also my experience. I was accepted for a teaching online job based on my TEFL Online Pro certification. That alone should be enough to convince you of the quality of the program.

Having been interested in teaching for a while, the program did not disappoint in educating me about teaching English online and to in-person students- such as the communicative approach to teaching grammar, the importance, and effectiveness of TEFL games and activities, developing effective classroom management skills, teaching business English and the course also provided help with resume tips and interview techniques. This program met all my needs. I completed my 120-hour TESOL course with TEFL Online Pro last week, so I can speak as someone who has recently gone through the program.

The course materials are logically structured and fun to work through. I have to emphasize the “fun” part here because (well, for me anyway) learning something new can be sometimes very demanding. For example, to be able to teach English you have to learn some difficult grammar subjects. The two grammar modules in the course were pretty intense, but I thought the way that they test your knowledge via the quizzes helped a lot in retaining the knowledge and helped make the learning curve seem much less intense.

I liked how the course focuses heavily on lesson planning structure and using activities and games to present language and grammar. There were so many useful examples of real teacher and student activities and games in the course. The great thing about this is that you can save them and keep them for later on. After modules 6 and 11 there are two lesson plan assignments and you are encouraged to include some of the activities/games in these. I thought this was excellent because it taught me how to structure a lesson plan properly and at the same time how to make the lesson enjoyable for me and my students. Plus, the feedback that I got back on both lesson plans was constructive and encouraging. It helped my confidence. Also, the teaching Business English and Teenagers bonus units at the end were interesting and will I’m sure be helpful additions to my resume.

Speaking about resumes, I asked if they wouldn’t mind looking over mine before I sent it out to schools and they helped me with it. TEFL Online Pro issues your certificate and letter of recommendation right after finishing the final module. There was no having to wait around for the documents. Because of this quick turnaround, I was able to immediately start applying for teaching jobs.

I don’t think it will be any surprise therefore that I recommend this program. The feedback and support, the course materials, the job prospects, and the value for money aspect – all have been excellent.

TEFL Online Pro offered a great experience in earning my TEFL/TESOL certificate online. The educational format was very easy to follow and the website was user-friendly. I’m not the most tech-savvy person on the planet, so the straightforward study approach was important to me. I also loved the fact that although it was online, there was still my tutor there for me to check my progress and answer any questions that I had. As well as following the course and answering the multiple choice quiz questions, I was expected to turn in two lesson plan assignments, and these were then returned to me with helpful notes on how I could improve on their structure.

My tutor (Paul) was lightning quick with getting back to me, whenever I had a question or needed help. I appreciated his support. I could have taken the course without the help with feedback, but I don’t think I would have gotten so much out of it if I hadn’t had the guidance. I can’t compare this course to any others because I haven’t taken any other TEFL course, but for me, this one was a perfect fit. I also had help with writing my resume, and help with finding work. So when I look at what I received for my money and also when I see how much I have earned teaching since taking the course, I have to recommend the TEFL Online Pro online TEFL/TESOL program.
