I’ve commented a couple of times on your site concerning my disappointing experience with the ittt (International TEFL and TESOL Training) course. While I was doing some Spring-Cleaning, I located the (fake) certificate I got from them back in 2020. I don’t know if a picture would be helpful to your site or not, in order to help others to be aware of the dangers of booking courses with them. If it would, I would be willing to share a pitcure of it with you. My name could be blurred out for privacy purposes.

I kept it to remind myself of this horrible experience. I believe my review of ittt is posted on Trust Pilot still (with an unusual response from the owner(s)). Strangely, I remember both the names Linda and James popping up in responses to me when I tried to report them back then.

I have a question about ITTT’s accreditation. As well as being accredited by OTTSA, ITTT claims to be accredited by the Teacher Training Council. The big problem with this that I’m now noticing is that the Teacher Training Council spells Accreditation: “Accredidation” (with a “d” and not a “t”). It is misspelled on their actual logo FFS.

Do you think that this is a sign that accreditation is dodgy? Or am I reading too much into this?

No matter what they may claim otherwise, ITTT TEFL is a company based out of Thailand.
This is where their certificates are issued. And, they are “accredited” by OTTSA.

Accreditation means very little in the eyes of a school interviewer. BUT, accreditation is one extra layer of consumer protection in case things go south.
The issue with OTTSA is that it cannot be classed as “externally accredited” because it was set up by an English teacher, living in Thailand for a couple of years, who simply wanted to make an extra buck by creating the illusion of an international accreditation body. I also guess that he was a little sick of teaching too 🙂

The only OTTSA accredited school that we would recommend taking, for the reason of that extra layer of consumer protection, is Vantage TEFL Thailand.
Why? Because they receive consistently positive customer feedback, and the probability of ever needing to complain about their course is very low.
Therefore, the extra layer of consumer protection with Vantage TEFL would rarely be required.

We wish we could say the same thing about ITTT TEFL and MyTEFL, which work in tandem with each other and which both receive very average customer ratings.

I’m afraid that although ITTT TEFL are almost definitely avid followers of trustedteflreviews.com, they have never responded to a valid, verified customer comment or review to date.

I am not in a position to speculate as to why the silence, but it does seem odd when other Online TEFL programs respond to verified customer reviews and comments on trustedteflreviews.com.

Could somebody please reply? I’ve got my fingers crossed that this is all just an innocent mix up, but the MyTEFL Scam article has seriously spoofed me because it also mentions ITTT TEFL !!! 😦

I’m not sure what is going on with ITTT TEFL, but It’s a shame that you never received your certificate, money back, or even an apology. I tried my best to get a hold of them for you, but it was like hitting my head against a brick wall. Perhaps they have staffing issues? I really don’t know. What I do know is that the Linda Dunsmore, who markets ITTT TEFL courses on Quora.com, works for ITTT TEFL. In my opinion, she represents the company online, and if she can’t simply respond to a request to get a hold of you to see how she can help, then what does this say about ITTT TEFL?
