I liked that you could see how the course is broken down before you enroll in the course. I know that some other programs also do this too, but I just thought the way TTA does this was particularly good. I did buy into what they write about the Level 5 course is best above all other TEFL courses, and now I have found out that this isn’t the case I do feel a bit silly for having believed the marketing spiel. I am a bit worried because I plan on teaching in Asia and I have read that TTA courses are only recognized in the UK/some European countries. I’m hoping that most schools that I apply to won’t mind this. I’ve taken online courses before and this one ranks average in terms of delivery. They pack a lot of information in, but the course videos are poor. On the other hand, though I thought the feedback on my coursework was very good. The person had definitely read through my work because the feedback they gave was detailed and relevant. Overall I would recommend taking the TTA Level 5 course if you want to teach in Europe, but I’m not sure I would recommend it if like me you want to teach somewhere in Asia.
