Vantage TEFL’s online TESOL program came highly recommended to me and have been through the program, I certainly extend that recommendation. Having been interested in teaching English to immigrants and refugees for a while, the program did not disappoint in educating me about teaching my mother tongue as a second language- such as the importance of structured lesson plans, understanding the grammar requirements of different student levels, and understanding the importance of when and when not to correct a student’s mistakes. I got tremendous real-life experience teaching my practicum in downtown Bangkok, experiences of which I am truly proud and which set me off on the right path on my TEFL journey. All of the people I had contact with at Vantage TEFL Bangkok were always willing to lend a hand and help with any questions I had. Overall I recommend this program to anyone who is in Bangkok and who wants to get a rewarding TESOL experience.
