I apologize for the lateness in writing this review but I just remembered about it because I just got accepted to a new job and when I glanced at my certificate, I remembered I promised to write a review of the program. I took the course in the middle of the pandemic and was offered to take the practicum section online, teaching English to online students. I must say that Vantage TEFL Certification (Vantage Siam) was very accommodating and flexible and helped me find the students to teach. The course was brilliant, as was the customer service. If I ever make it to Bangkok, I’ll be certain to pop in and thank everyone in person. Recommended school for the international teaching certificate!

This is primarily a teaching course for anyone wanting to teach English in Thailand. How it works is that you take an online course through Vantage TEFL online (took mine when I had free time at the weekends) and then you travel to Thailand to complete your basic teaching practice.

They do make it seem that they are the only ones doing this type of course in Thailand, but after a simple search, I found a whole load of other schools offering either the same or similar courses.

I’d just choose an online course, travel to Thailand (if that’s where you want to teach) and then it’s just so easy to find work. If you can’t find work in Thailand, you won’t find work anywhere.

So because of this, I am giving Vantage TEFL three stars. In retrospect, I could have saved on the teaching component and just got a job with a regular 120-hour TEFL certification course.
