Terrible customer service. If you plan on studying at the weekend when I imagine most students who hold down full-time jobs do then think again. I had many difficulties accessing the online course over the weekend and this was just so frustrating. After contacting TEFL Org, you might, if you are lucky, receive a human reply within a week. If not, then it will probably be an automated response. The course was not as described on their website. It was dull and outdated, and the video content quality was atrocious. There is nothing ‘advanced’ about the TEFL Org 40-hour Teaching English Online advanced TEFL course. A total waste of time.

I’m a graduate of the TEFL.Org 120-hour Premier Online TEFL course and I thought I’d come onto trustedteflreviews.com to briefly let everyone know how the course went and how it helped me progress in the world of TEFL.

First, it must be noted that TEFL Org also offers this 120-hour course with teaching practice, but after weighing up the pros and cons of this option, I decided to go ahead and just take the online version of the course. My main reasons for this were the cost and that the teaching practice segment isn’t observed. So I’ll just wait until I’m teaching to get those teaching hours: when I’ll be paid for taking them and not have to pay for taking them

All in all, I was pretty pleased with the course structure and content and help was available whenever I needed it. I did think that some of the tuition was a little unnecessary and a tad too wordy, but I imagine this is the case for all these types of online tuition courses.

So regarding the course, everything went swimmingly well.

It’s just after you have completed the course when the helpful communication significantly drops, so don’t expect any real help or assistance in finding a job afterward.
