The MyTefl course online was OK. I was on their 120-hour program and it took just over a week to complete. The course itself is designed nicely and seems to cover the main topics that I also spotted on other Tefl/Tesol school websites. I did raise an eyebrow at some of the questions asked because they weren’t really difficult enough and it seems that the course is designed for everyone to pass with flying colors. Very little support was offered at the end. I received my certificate quite quickly and didn’t experience any problems using it overseas. I would like to give MyTefl a higher rating but the support promised just wasn’t there for me.

My Premier TEFL TESOL online certification course review.

This was an encouraging and motivating online teacher of English course in which I enjoyed learning about different teaching methodologies, the many different forms of grammar which are taught in classrooms, and pieces of advice to put into practice. All this has helped me understand more about this teaching field and how to effectively plan and deliver thought-out and effective lesson planning. It has definitely made a difference in my teaching abilities and in my general confidence in leading a class of English language student learners. I am sure I will have an opportunity in the future to use the full extent of the materials and resources I was given in this course. A great message to pass around is how easy it is to teach English abroad or online and how it brings a lot of flexibility into your life and how you feel a sense of purpose in teaching people whose English language skills make a real difference in their personal and professional lives. I successfully completed the i-to-i TESOL/TEFL course online (2019).

If you are reading this now while you try and search for the right course to take, I know exactly what it is like. It completely overwhelmed me too – the dizzying choice of courses. The conflicting information. The obvious misinformation. Worrying whether it will be a scam or not, etc.

I must admit that what initially drew me to i-to-i was their flawless website. Top marks to their website design team! I then began asking questions about the course and about teaching jobs and they always got right back to me. So I decided to go for it.

I loved the online learning experience. As it was my first time I did have worries at the start though. I was mainly worried that I wouldn’t pass a test and end up failing the course. My worries were soon cleared as I saw that the course goes into detail and fully prepares you for the tests. I wouldn’t say that it is an easy course to take. Neither is it super difficult. Somewhere in-between I think is a fair assessment.

i-to-i TESOL is also there to support you through the job hunting process – they helped me to tailor my resume more effectively for an English teaching job interview, plus they provided interviewing tips which were also super helpful.

Great course! You’ll work really hard and you’ll find it’s definitely worth it. Almost every aspect of teaching is covered and the materials are very well presented. A very good balance between price and quality. Also, lots of workarounds. It’s been a while now since I took this course (online) and now we’re all in lockdown the demand for teachers has been driven pretty much exclusively online. Perhaps the teaching market in China is going to open up soon. Anyways, Oxford Seminars is definitely worth it. Cheers!

For me, the pros of taking this course far outweighed any cons and I was extremely satisfied with the certification which I received. I signed up for the Hybrid (140 Hr) course, so I also had 20 hours of teaching practice included, which I completed by teaching work colleagues and a few lessons I managed to arrange at the local school. I didn’t experience any issues at all along the way. There was the option of personal tutor access and I did ask Lucinda for help a couple of times, but other than that everything went smoothly. Finding a job was much easier than I anticipated it would be. Having the 20 teaching practice hours definitely boosted my confidence. It cost more than the 120 Hr Professional but for me was worth the extra investment.

I loved the experience of studying where I wanted and when I had the free time to do so. My online tutor was very helpful. It was an interesting course and I felt I progressed further than I thought possible. The help with finding work makes all the difference and the staff were very supportive throughout.
