Was really happy with my course studies and it felt as though the course materials were specifically designed for people like myself who have absolutely zero teaching experience or abilities. The course takes a very level-headed approach, beginning easy and then plateauing for the remainder at a mid-level difficulty level. The Linguistics sections were difficult but I just won’t use phonemes in my classes, or at least I’ll try to avoid them as much as possible. I think they confuse students more than they help them. Any regrets about taking the course with Let’s TEFL? No.

Excellent Course! Got to confess I started out with few expectations, but as I got more involved I started to realize how much I didn’t know and how much I was learning. I wasn’t expecting this from an online course! It is designed properly also. I learned various teaching tools like teaching time tenses, classroom management, teaching conditionals, the creation of lesson plans, correcting students, how to grade students, international testing systems, and many more…… In the end, I am glad I took the course and I will be using many of the tools I learned to enhance my teaching. Thanks go out to the instructor and the whole team!

The Let’s TEFL 120-hour online course is a good option if (as in my case) you don’t have the option of taking four weeks out for the on-site certification training alternative. I was looking for a course I could study when I had time off from work and this version of the TEFL training fit well for me. The course is solid. I didn’t have any previous teaching experience of any kind whatsoever, so I was a little nervous when I signed up. I made sure to read the program’s website thoroughly, so I had a pretty good idea going into what to expect in the general sense, but I wasn’t certain just how involved and complex the information would get. This is the standout positive of the course. It starts off slow and easy and builds in difficulty and momentum. I personally liked this approach because if it had begun really difficult I don’t know whether I would have felt motivated enough to study on through to the end. I had to pay extra for the certificate and I thought the program could have been more active with help finding jobs and giving advice on which schools to avoid. Overall the course was great and I would probably recommend Let’s TEFL to others.

Nothing out of the ordinary to report. You sign up, pay, receive course access, take the course, complete the course, and receive your certificate. There is some employment support, but nothing really to write home about that much. The course is designed so that you read through the information and then complete a quiz after each module. I fully enjoyed this setup. The course did what it said it would, apart from a bit of a letdown regarding the ongoing support. Still, for the money, I’m not complaining.

I just want to begin by writing that the course was easy to access and I enjoyed working through it. There were a few times when I ran into difficult sections but I was able to Google the answers. The course follows a logical path and I really don’t see anyone managing to fail this course. I passed the course with 86%. Not the best grade, but not fail either. The issue I had with Let’s TEFL is that before I enrolled I specifically asked whether a degree was required for teaching in Thailand, and I got a specific answer back that no a degree isn’t required. It turns out that a degree is required if you want to teach English in Thailand. I don’t have a degree so Thailand is now out of the picture for me. I’ve read that it is possible to teach in Vietnam without one but a lot of the information online is conflicting so I’m not really sure if this is true or not. I give the course high marks but lower marks for the help provided with finding work after.

The course was pretty much what I was expecting from what is advertised on the Let’s TEFL website. You read a chunk of text and then you complete a list of multiple-choice quiz questions. The course lacked any video content and the scrolling through text grew monotonous after a couple of modules in. Also, I noticed one or two grammar mistakes in the texts. Not exactly reassuring. I would describe this course as being essentially a TEFL mill. As long as you read the texts, choose/guess the right answers in the quizzes, and complete the homework assignment, you will pass the course with an almost 100% pass rate and receive your certificate approximately 2 weeks later. There was some mention of job placement on the Lets TEFL website, but this never materialized. I think this course is more suited to someone who just needs the TEFL certificate, without needing to go too much into depth about how and what to teach. I am happy with the outcome of the course. I just wish it had been more challenging.

The course was very good and they provided support throughout the duration of my course and after when I began looking for work online. The support LetsTEFL provides during the course comes in the form of the feedback they give on assignments. It was comforting to know that someone was there on the other end to moderate my progress and to tell me when I was making a mistake. The support LetsTEFL gives when you look for work is in the form of a list of recommended schools they have vetted. The certificate looks professional too. I definitely feel more confident now about my teaching abilities and I would recommend the program to others.

I very recently took and completed a TEFL course with Let’s TEFL. The one I chose was their Ultimate 120-Hour online TEFL course. It’s accredited by WTEFLAC, which stands for World TEFL Accrediting Council. I didn’t do any pre-course research on this accreditation body, but I wish I had beforehand. The course was easy to follow and without any bugs. I considered it well-written too. Some of the responses I got back from the school were obviously generic cut and paste, but for the price that I paid for the course, I didn’t mind so much. Having completed the course and received my certificate though, I’m beginning to think that their WTEFLAC accreditation might not be as well accepted as they make it out to be. For example, the last post on the WTEFLAC Facebook page was written back in 2018. One potential employer has already questioned the legitimacy of this accreditation. So whilst I thought the course was designed well, I have lingering doubts about whether the WTEFLAC accreditation is legit or not.

Is Let’s TEFL legit?

The course content might be very good but what is the point of a well-written syllabus if you have to wait for what feels like forever for videos to stream? I began my course with a lot of enthusiasm but ended up losing patience because of their video loading issues, even though I have high-speed internet at home. When I complained about this, Let’s TEFL replied saying it must be something to do with my internet speed. My internet speed has always remained fast but to troubleshoot I checked playing videos on YouTube and Vimeo whenever I experienced a video streaming issue with Let’s TEFL, but there were no steaming issues with either YouTube or Vimeo, so it couldn’t be an issue with my internet speed. The course taught me a lot but the technology obviously hasn’t been updated for at least 10 years and it really shows. I can’t comment on the Let’s TEFL job placement service because I’m not going to begin searching for teaching work until at least this time next year but from what I’ve read I would avoid accepting a job placement because you’ll just be paying a percentage of your monthly salary to Lets’ TEFL for the convenience of finding you a job. Seems like there are still lots of jobs out there, so when I do start looking I’ll do an independent search online if Let’s TEFL doesn’t help with job guidance and only job placement.

It was a reasonable program but there were a few things I wasn’t happy with. I’ll begin with what I liked about the program. 1. It was really easy to enroll. There is just a basic form to complete and then you make your payment and you begin the course. Let’s TEFL doesn’t require you to complete a long application form or anything like that and I really appreciated this quick and simple sign-up process. 2. The course isn’t complicated to follow and doesn’t feel cluttered. All the modules are easy to follow but at the same time, they are not too easy that you feel like you are just clicking boxes for the sake of it. I read warnings online about taking a TEFL mill course where you complete everything in a very short period of time. It took me a month to get everything completed on my 120-hour course with Let’s TEFL and I left with the feeling that I had earned my TEFL certificate. What I didn’t like about the Let’s TEFL program is how they promise a lot of support for when you complete the course, like help with writing a resume and help finding a job, but none of these things materialized. They also promise that they will deliver a hardcopy version of the certificate to you. While this is true, they don’t mention on their website that they charge quite a hefty fee for this. So in the end I just stuck with the electronic copy. The Let’s TEFL course was great but they should honor their after-course customer service promises. Because of this, I’m giving the program 2.5 stars.

I’m more than happy to recommend Let’s TEFL as a very well-organized TESOL program to get certified in teaching English abroad. My online tutor was very helpful. Actually, they were awesome! Always available to provide help whenever needed, and always quick with their responses. And I really couldn’t see how I could have successfully completed the course without this support. I definitely recommend choosing one of these online teaching courses with online tutor backup support. You WILL have questions/experience difficulties, and when you have someone on the other end with the experience and who can respond with expert guidance then this makes all the difference. Well, it certainly does in my eyes anyway. I didn’t need to make an extra purchase for online tutor support. It came as part of the course package.

When I completed the course, Let’s TEFL maintained its approachable manner with its post-course employment support. I had my mind set on teaching English in Cambodia, but I didn’t really know where to look online for further information. Yes, there are loads of articles written on this very subject, but I wanted to get beyond the background noise and get some local opinions from ex-pats on the ground. Let’s TEFL directed me to some hugely useful and reliable ex-pat forum websites and gave me a list of language schools operating out of the Kampot area. Finding work was really easy because there is a lot of work on offer in Cambodia for native English speakers who are TEFL qualified. I don’t have a university degree, but this wasn’t an issue for this part of the world. It’s coming up to a year now since I relocated to Cambodia and I haven’t regretted one single day since moving over here.

Let’s TEFL Ultimate TESOL.

I was fairly satisfied taking the Let’s TEFL 120-hour Ultimate TESOL course – an online course that doesn’t require you to travel to classes to complete it. The email back and forth with the school was without issues and they came across as approachable and answered my questions satisfactorily. My only gripe with the course was how it was a text-heavy format. There weren’t any videos at all. I really felt that there should have been video content because I grew a bit tired of just reading text after a while. Still, for the price, I think it was a good investment and I can’t fault the content presented in the course.

Each module has a 75% pass rate, so to reach the next module you need to pass at least 75% on the previous one. The quiz questions were, I have to admit, very easy. This would be good for anyone wanting an easy course to take which seemed to me virtually impossible to fail. I could have done with more challenging questions though… But again, the content was a very good overview of teaching and as a bonus, in the end, there is an additional course you can take which looks at job hunting and getting your resume up to the standard required for ESL job interviews.

I was happy with what I received and I don’t have anything really negative to write about the Let’s TEFL Ultimate TESOL course.

I was overall satisfied taking my teaching English overseas certification online with Let’s TEFL. It’s not too expensive and the office staff was reasonably helpful when I had questions before, during, and after the course. The thing to remember is the course is without any teaching practice so it’s not the same as taking the in-class version. If you don’t mind this though then I would recommend this school. It’s difficult to judge whether they offer one of the best course choices or not because this was my one and only teaching an online course, but there definitely weren’t any major red flags for me and I did get certified to teach English, which was my sole reason for taking this course. They do offer some help when you have finished and want to start looking for work. The help wasn’t what I would describe as extensive but there was help available nonetheless. I was able to find jobs advertised online very easily though. It did take up a lot of my time trying to work out what the standard rate of pay is. Some language schools offer much more than others and certain countries provide more benefits for their teachers. To save time and hassle I just went for the teaching English online option and this has worked out pretty well for me since. One thing that did appear very clear was that the course isn’t an end to all and (I guess like with all these courses) you will constantly be picking up new knowledge along the way.

I’m really happy that I chose this school and I was very impressed with the amount of information provided throughout the Let’s TEFL online course.

I studied online from home and was easily able to fit it around my schedule. I think this is the main advantage of online courses. I did the modules mostly in the evenings and at weekends.

The Let’s TEFL online TESOL course is worth doing in all aspects of being a new teacher and is also a pleasure to complete. The course administrators are also helpful and friendly.
