After completing my college education at CU Boulder I furthered my education with the online TEFL certification course through Bridge. The application process was easy and in light of my fresh college graduate status, I was accepted into the program without having to complete further steps. The online classes were easy to access and navigate and the curriculum was very informative. I liked the interactive lesson plan sections which helped me track my progress and helped me get a better perspective on my teaching skills as I progressed. The cost was not bad at all compared to other schools in my area which offer these classes in person. The tutors were good at touching base with me during my studies and any technical difficulties were promptly tended to. Overall I enjoyed my online TEFL experience with Bridge. The staff was always available when I had questions or concerns and the curriculum was professional and practical. I strongly recommend Bridge as a place to further your education and get that all-important TEFL qualification.

On the whole, this was a great experience. The instructors clearly care about your success in the course and take extra steps to make the course both knowledgeable and fun with their awe-inspiring TEFL knowledge. Rather than dump the full course online, each section is scheduled to be taken at a specific time. I liked the strict scheduling as it motivated me to stick to my learning goals.

All is not absolutely perfect, however. The course is billed as a course anyone can take and pass, and while this is technically true, the learning curve is pretty steep and the workload fairly demanding. Each week adds a bunch of new concepts, and you immediately have to apply them, which is often complicated.

If you are prepared to put in the time and get your head down, the feeling of achievement you get at the end makes all the work worth the effort.
