I’m afraid this is another complaint from another student who chose a too-good-to-be-true priced Online TEFL course, only to discover when the payment had gone through that there was a reason for the mouthwatering low, low price. Anyone, myself included, who falls for the $30 or under TEFL course online is setting themselves up for a short period of study time between a rock and a hard place. Frankly, I would feel embarrassed showing the certificate Enjoy TEFL issued to me after a frightfully low-on-quality course.

Suited my needs perfectly. I’m a non-native English speaker so I didn’t want to invest too heavily in a certification course that I might not be able to apply for my job-hunting quest. I haven’t found a job yet, but Enjoy TEFL have said they will do all they can to help me secure a teaching English job overseas. The course is easy to follow and if there was or wasn’t tutor support, I never felt so out of depth that I would have needed to have this support. The course price was the cheapest I could find so if it doesn’t work out for me then I haven’t invested too heavily. I like this school and the staff was always very polite to me. It did sometimes take a while for them to return my emails, but they always did in the end.

There’s a lot of reading, so prepare yourself for that. But otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality content of this course and the consistently good rate of feedback. I only needed a piece of paper for my school’s Director of Studies and this course did the job nicely.

Not sure it would replace a full-time TEFL course though for anyone new to the industry.
