I’m afraid this is another complaint from another student who chose a too-good-to-be-true priced Online TEFL course, only to discover when the payment had gone through that there was a reason for the mouthwatering low, low price. Anyone, myself included, who falls for the $30 or under TEFL course online is setting themselves up for a short period of study time between a rock and a hard place. Frankly, I would feel embarrassed showing the certificate Enjoy TEFL issued to me after a frightfully low-on-quality course.

Suited my needs perfectly. I’m a non-native English speaker so I didn’t want to invest too heavily in a certification course that I might not be able to apply for my job-hunting quest. I haven’t found a job yet, but Enjoy TEFL have said they will do all they can to help me secure a teaching English job overseas. The course is easy to follow and if there was or wasn’t tutor support, I never felt so out of depth that I would have needed to have this support. The course price was the cheapest I could find so if it doesn’t work out for me then I haven’t invested too heavily. I like this school and the staff was always very polite to me. It did sometimes take a while for them to return my emails, but they always did in the end.

Once you’ve signed up and paid, trying to contact Enjoy TEFL is like trying to get blood from a stone. I thought the course had some merit, but their complete lack of customer service and the fact that I’m STILL waiting for my certificate doesn’t inspire me to recommend this course to others.

There’s a lot of reading, so prepare yourself for that. But otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality content of this course and the consistently good rate of feedback. I only needed a piece of paper for my school’s Director of Studies and this course did the job nicely.

Not sure it would replace a full-time TEFL course though for anyone new to the industry.

Enjoy TEFL runs their online course on the Udemy.com learning platform, which is a little complicated to use at first, but you soon become used to it and I ended up liking it a lot.

The course (I took the 120-Hour Advanced TEFL Course) was much cheaper than other programs I was researching at the time of choosing which program to go with, but this does reflect the level of services provided.

I wouldn’t necessarily write to not take your TEFL with Enjoy TEFL. Just thoroughly research all of your options before making your final choice. There are a ton of course possibilities and my advice isn’t to go for the one which seems to be the cheapest. You do get what you pay for.
