I had a good experience with the 120-hour TEFL course. I liked how the course taught a combination of teaching grammar and teaching methodology. It (the course) taught me what should be in a lesson and how a lesson should be taught. The only thing is that some of the material is out of date, like the media in the classroom unit, so I think this unit should be updated to reflect the media possibilities for the classroom in 2025. Other than this minor complaint, the course was comprehensive and an enjoyable experience. I did pay for the tutor support and I’m pleased I did because it was reassuring to know there was someone on the other end should I have any questions. Most of the course is self-explanatory (it’s also self-paced) but I did have questions with regard to a few of the more complicated grammar topics, some of which I was discovering for the first time. My decision to take the TEFL / TESOL certification online with teflonlinepro.com was based on all the positive reviews and because the program has won awards. Finding a fully accredited course was top of my list, and that box was also ticked with this program. The course was very easy to work through with my tutor guiding me and the job support I have received since has been excellent. There is always someone to speak to whenever I have a question, even months after graduating from the course.

I’m sure there are other TEFL / TESOL programs offering similar courses, but the one provided by teflonlinepro has proven to do what it says it does on the tin. I got a job right after completing the course. I recommend the program!

It wasn’t easy deciding which online TEFL course to take because all the programs seem to offer the same type of courses and it’s hard to tell which ones are legit.

I chose the 120-hour TEFL/TESOL with TEFL Online Pro because it was a safe option (reviews+awards) and the price was in my Goldilocks zone. It’s accredited properly (unlike some other programs, whose accreditation is not legit) and the staff are super supportive so don’t worry if you’ve never taught before.

It’s a 14-module course with multiple-choice quizzes and two lesson plan coursework assignments. I was very nervous about creating my first lesson plan, but Paul reassured me and gave me the confidence to get the job done. For the second one, I found the structure of the course and the course content jelled perfectly and I aced the assignment.

The other benefits of TEFL Online Pro include a career service, and visa support. These are very important if you want professional help navigating the job market. We arranged a 30-minute Skype call and discussed the pros and cons of teaching online vs. somewhere overseas. I decided to get my feet wet by teaching online (Preply+VIPKid) and now a year on, I’m in Hanoi, teaching adults and kids and some business English students.

If you want to take a course that will challenge you, actually teach you how to teach, and help you find a job, this is the program.

Review of TEFL/TESOL Course Professional.

With plans to teach overseas in Vietnam, I enrolled in the TEFL Online Pro 120-hour Professional course after reading many of the positive things that prior customers had to say about the program. Another motivating factor for why I chose this particular program is because of its Fully Accredited status and because of its free job assistance. Another major decider for my choice was also the free tutor support and the consistent feedback from folks that the program has excellent customer care support.

All of the above turned out to be true and the course was exceptional at teaching a novice like myself about how to teach English to all learner levels. Even to students who speak no English. I was also attracted to this course because it covers teaching children and adults and also covers teaching General and Business English.

Basically, with this course, you will tick all of the boxes for what is required when you then want to go on to teach English online or overseas in a classroom.

Getting the certificate legalized for the school I wanted to teach for was straightforward and I leave this month for Southeast Asia.

Tip! If applying for jobs in Vietnam, you must have the hard-copy version of the course certificate.

Also, 120 hours is the required number of training hours. There is no need to pay for a course with more than this number of hours.

Overall very impressed with the Tefl Online Pro program. I signed up for the 120-hour course because I read 120 hours is the industry-wide standard number of TEFL study hours schools expect you to have. I paid for the course with my debit card and got an instant confirmation of purchase and instant access to the course. A few hours later came a welcome email from Paul, one of the program’s managers. I appreciated this a lot and I also appreciated how fast the program responded to emails in general. The modules are full of information – diagrams, pictures, videos, written explanations, etc., and each one has a multiple-choice quiz. These quizzes were really fun and the perfect way to self-evaluate my progress as well. I really liked the course. It was educational and fun. The course certificate is very official-looking. It shows how many hours I studied, has a unique certification identification number, and shows that it is a fully accredited TEFL/TESOL certification. I’m currently teaching for Preply and wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without the Tefl Online Pro teaching certificate and the job support that I received after completing the course. I recommend this program.
