I have had a good INDEPENDENT experience. What I mean by that is that I paid for the course without tutor assistance. If you choose the same, understand you are fully on your own. The material is good I have learned a lot and although I have not begun searching for work, I have had some help from ITTT with some links to good websites. The course is useful and includes good resources to help you succeed. It is true they are at the height of helpful in the beginning when you show interest in the course but I wasn’t expecting the red carpet treatment anyway. ITTT does answer emails. It takes a while for them to get back to you but when they do they answer with the information requested. The program is for self-starters and people who are self-driven. I give the ITTT course 3 out of 5.

Horrible experience with ITTT TEFL Online.

Worst customer service. Poor course content. Never received my certificate from them. When you try to get through to their office it takes forever for somebody to pick up, and then you just get the same useless answers. They just don’t seem to care that people take their course to receive TEFL certification. Not to then wait months for the certificate to arrive. Won’t issue me a refund and can’t ask my bank for one now as it’s been over 6 months. What to do? I guess it’s a case of just waiting, or spending more money on another TEFL course.

Relatively happy with the decision I made. The course content was very good but it was often frustrating when the videos took so long to load and stream. The videos are also quite old and outdated. I don’t know when the course was last updated but it was obvious to me that it needs a revamp. Apart from this one major complaint, I thought the way the course was overall put together and managed was done really well. Somebody obviously put a lot of thought into it. It starts off fairly easy and progressively gets more and more difficult. As someone who is averse to stressful big tests, I also appreciated the fact that the course doesn’t have one final exam at the end instead you are tested throughout the course by the mini quizzes at the end of each study section.

I’ve been able to make use of the certificate for employment, teaching online to students based in Europe, so I don’t imagine anyone should run into any difficulties when applying for jobs with the ITTT TEFL certificate. I will want to teach overseas at some stage in the not-so-distant future, and I see from testimonials that you can also use the certification in other countries. The course did what it claimed it can do, opening up doors for me with regard to teaching online, and that is ultimately what matters most. It was just a shame that the video quality let down an otherwise stellar course.
