Hiya, Trusted TEFL Reviews. I decided to keep my review short and direct.

Things I liked about the ITTT TEFL Online course:

1. I liked the flexibility of studying online. I didn’t need to travel anywhere to take the course.
2. The course sign-up process was straightforward.

Things I didn’t like about the ITTT TEFL Online course:

1. ITTT market their TEFL courses with job placement, but when you complete the course there is no help with looking for work.
2. I received my ITTT TEFL certificate from Thailand. I thought they were a US-based company.
3. The course was overall too easy, could have done with more video tutorials, and I noticed a few grammar mistakes in the modules.

Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend ITTT TEFL if asked to do so. The course is quite expensive and the price doesn’t equate to the quality level of the product. Sorry that I can’t write a more positive review.

If you want to teach English – take this course.

I loved the content and how it was presented and all at the same time, it was fun, challenging, and an addictive way of learning.

I had no previous experience teaching English and naively thought the course would be a breeze. I’m sure this sentiment is shared by the majority of people who take TEFL courses online. I was kind of expecting the course to be easy (I’m a native English speaker) but very early on I realized that there was a lot more learning involved – grammar was just one area that I initially found very hard. Schools in the US don’t teach grammar. You learn the language but aren’t taught how it works. How the rules behind the tenses, etc. are formed. For example, before taking this course I had no idea of all the different time tenses – let alone when we use, for example, either the Present Perfect or Past Simple.

This course takes very complex information and presents it in an easily understandable form.

The ITTT TEFL staff were approachable and friendly too.

This is definitely a TEFL program that you should consider taking.

Boy, do I wish I had found this site before signing up with ITTT TEFL. If I had then I would never have signed up with them in the first place.

In my opinion, ITTT TEFL is just a money-making machine, with little regard for their customer. It is a shame really because I thought the course study experience was quite good, and it taught me what I consider to be the basics of how to teach English. The problem with ITTT TEFL though is they take a long time to respond to emails and offer little course support, which is something that really frustrated me as I lost some of the work I was working on when their site temporarily went down.

Very poor customer support and they make you wait weeks for your TEFL certificate.
