‘I’m not rich enough to be able to afford cheap things’. I wish I had remembered this adage when I shelled out the $20 to take this course. As expected, the course wasn’t anything to write home about. but I kind of understood this when I purchased it. I mean $20 for a TEFL course???!!! Well, I stuck with it and had it all done and dusted within a couple of days. But again, I wasn’t surprised at all by how quickly it took me. And then came the important part of using the certification. I WAS able to get interviews, and I WAS successful in one of them. But, when it came time to notarize the certificate (something now required in China) my school notified me that it was denied. So I had to quickly take another online TEFL course – spending $200 in the process – and now all is OK. Please don’t assume, as I did, that you can afford to buy cheap things
