They offer an excellent TEFL course that you can take at your own speed and the course support is very good. The course was absolutely worth it and I have no regrets whatsoever. The certificate is delivered quickly and the program is fully accredited so you know it will be accepted when you apply for teaching ESL jobs.

I rate the course very highly and recommend taking it.

My reasons for giving only 3 stars from 5 are not related to the course but related to what happens after the course if you decide to accept one of the Maximo Nivel job placements.

The job placement is dreadful.

The one I chose was in Cusco, Peru.

I was overworked and really not appreciated at all. The money was much less than promised as well. I am not an isolated case. This has happened to many teachers (we run a private Facebook group) and I’m certain this is why Maximo Nivel has deleted the Reviews tab on their Facebook page. There can be no other reason because the course is an absolute win.

I recommend taking the TEFL course but I would never recommend doing the job placement with this company. You can easily find work on your own so you really don’t need to rely on Maximo Nivel to find your work.
