Great experience with tefl online pro. They have consistently good customer reviews and I understand why. The course is structured well and there is a lot of support. Anytime I messaged them I got a reply almost immediately. This is exactly what you want in an online training course. The job support at the end of the course was excellent. I wanted to start out teaching online and then transition to offline teaching. tefl online pro helped me create my resume and my cover letter. They also put me in touch with online companies that their graduates had personal experience working for. I chose to teach for Cambly because they offered me the best starting rate and the most convenient hours. It didn’t take long to get the job. Only about a week or so after completing the tefl online pro course. It was an excellent stepping stone into TEFL online employment and I’m looking forward to teaching overseas.

I’m happy with the course, the certificate, and the job placement support I got from the company. I wanted a fully accredited TEFL/TESOL certification course whose certificate is internationally recognized, and the course ticked all the boxes. I got exactly what I was looking for.

The only reason not to give 5 stars is the fact that I didn’t realize the course was on offer and paid the full course fee. My advice is to check the https://teflonlinepro.com/discounts/ page on the website because when they do offer discounts you save substantially on the course fee.

They offer an excellent TEFL course that you can take at your own speed and the course support is very good. The course was absolutely worth it and I have no regrets whatsoever. The certificate is delivered quickly and the program is fully accredited so you know it will be accepted when you apply for teaching ESL jobs.

I rate the course very highly and recommend taking it.

My reasons for giving only 3 stars from 5 are not related to the course but related to what happens after the course if you decide to accept one of the Maximo Nivel job placements.

The job placement is dreadful.

The one I chose was in Cusco, Peru.

I was overworked and really not appreciated at all. The money was much less than promised as well. I am not an isolated case. This has happened to many teachers (we run a private Facebook group) and I’m certain this is why Maximo Nivel has deleted the Reviews tab on their Facebook page. There can be no other reason because the course is an absolute win.

I recommend taking the TEFL course but I would never recommend doing the job placement with this company. You can easily find work on your own so you really don’t need to rely on Maximo Nivel to find your work.

Excellent TEFL course. Appalling job placement.

I chose to take this course, based on the good feedback I read on various blogs published on the internet. It was, therefore, a big surprise to me when the course turned out to be passable in content and the support pretty much non-existent. The course is divided into modules, each covering different aspects of teaching English as a foreign language. I thought the choice of materials covered in the modules was very good. The problem that I had was that I was able to complete a module in under an hour-meaning the whole course in its entirety took only a couple of days to complete. Each module is a page or two of text and a (simple) quiz below. There is no way this course is 120 hours. It’s a fraction of that. From payment to certification, I didn’t receive any personalized communication from MyTEFL. From payment to certification, everything is automated. After the certification step, that was it from MyTEFL. No help getting a job. No help with teaching abroad information. There was an option I saw advertised on the MyTEFL website for job placement services, but I have read that these are generally best avoided. I would like to recommend MyTEFL, but I just can’t-based on the service I received. Perhaps I was unlucky and took the course during a temporary lull in their (as one blogger wrote) ‘well-oiled TEFL machine’. Or, perhaps the blogger hadn’t even taken the course and was just more concerned about the affiliate coupon which, yes, I did enter upon checkout-to save 35% off the course fee. The price of the MyTEFL 120-Hour course is good. You’ll be able to use the certificate abroad. I’m just not sure whether you’ll learn a substantial amount about TEFL by taking this course. And if you think you will need help to find work after the course, you might find yourself out on a limb as I was.

I have recently finished completing the TEFL course and the experience has just been wonderful. I passed the course in June and just got my first job in a school.

The enrollment was easy and the support given is superb, couldn’t be happier to have chosen to do the 120-hour Professional course with tefl online pro.

My tutor was AMAZING, very supportive, and good advice given when asked for it. My assignments were turned around with constructive feedback very promptly and he was always very encouraging.
