I recently took a truly terrible TEFL course through the TEFL Express certification program online and consider it my public duty to warn others not to fall for the same honey trap. It is a honey trap because the course is being offered for an incredibly cheap price but in this case, you get exactly what you pay for.

The course was very confusingly organized and was twice down when I was mid-study. Could have saved the fee and just bought a book instead as the materials were not presented well at all. Very poor. No feedback or any type of answer from them once my payment went through. Waited such a long time for my certificate, which eventually never came. I’ve now received my refund from Groupon which was processed without fuss.
