TEFL Fullcircle review (https://www.teflfullcircle.com/) submitted by Johan.

My beef with TEFL Fullcircle:

  1. Once you pay you just don’t hear back from them unless they are contacting you to get you to pay more money for something.
  2. I finished the 120 hours course in a day.
  3. The course content is riddled with elementary grammar mistakes and elementary spelling mistakes.
  4. The course format can’t be described as user-friendly. It worked fine on my laptop. When I tried working on both my tablet and phone the thing looked like it had crashed on me. Only choose this course if you plan on taking it with a laptop.
  5. They charge for everything. Course extensions. Course certificate. Resume support. Job support. Notarization of the certificate. You name it, they will charge you for it.
  6. The certificate arrived after two months and looks like a certificate template I could find online.

What I liked about TEFL Fullcircle:

  1. I thought some of the content was good. It went into some detail.
  2. It should be possible to use the certification to teach English online. *Should. I have all my fingers crossed on this one.

OISE University of Toronto TEFL review, submitted by Pam.

Positives:

  1. The certification is fully accredited and internationally recognized.
  2. Sign-up was quick and straightforward. Within minutes of purchase, I had access to the first module.
  3. Tutors are on the ball. They respond within 48 hours and are very knowledgeable in TEFL.
  4. The course is beautifully designed and has a user-friendly format.
  5. I received both a soft and hard copy certificate. Both look professional and authentic.
  6. OISE UoT partners with Teach Away for providing international jobs support. The staff at Teach Away have been responsive and helpful so far.
  7. No red flags were raised in the job interviews I took part in when I presented the TEFL certificate.

Negatives:

  1. The price. The course costs a lot more than other comparable programs offering a similar TEFL syllabus. I got the course paid for me as a family gift so this last point didn’t directly impact me.
