Expensive TEFL Certification Fees.

I thought the course was OK. One reviewer wrote that the school’s website is far better than the study part of the website and I have to agree. The course interface is somewhat clunky and not that user-friendly. This is a study-as-you-go online course and you are in it alone- meaning that there isn’t an online tutor to guide you through the course. There were some assignments that I had to complete and the feedback was a copy-and-paste reply. The course is cheap, but they charge an exorbitant amount for the certificate hard copy. On a more positive note, the course is good. I feel that I learned the basics of ESL teaching. The stand-out great thing about this course is how they approach teaching grammar. It would be easy to fall into the trap of making a module on teaching grammar boring, but the course delivered the information clearly and in a fun way with the use of various activities and examples. My advice to anyone considering this program though is to clarify in advance how much all the extra costs will set you back because it looks cheap at first, but ends up quite expensive by the end. the course is good though so if you don’t mind paying a bit more then this might be the right one for you.

If you are looking for a bare-bones Tefl course just to get the certification then why not with Tefl FullCircle? I chose this company purely on the price point. It was cheap. I didn’t care about the course content as so many other people seem to. I’m a non-native English speaker so I could probably write the course. It didn’t go into great depth detail, but I suppose that’s why it is geared towards native English speakers who didn’t need to learn English as a second language. I can’t say if it is a good course. I can’t say if it is a bad course. It is one of many advertised online which at the end supplies you with a certificate with ‘TEFL’ on it. That was good enough for me. Some more help finding work would have been nice. The copied and pasted list of schools I could have easily researched myself online. But I already had a job and just needed a certificate from a TEFL school which my language school could verify online. It worked for me. It might work for you.

Still waiting on the notarized copy of my Tefl Fullcircle certificate. I chose the course because of its wonderful reviews on Groupon, but I have had almost the opposite experience. Once you pay, it’s like extracting a tooth from a tiger when you need something from these people. The course was an incredible letdown and despite a tutor coming as part of the package, they were absent throughout. And $199 for the certificate notarization? Which I’ve been waiting on since 2019. Forget this company. They have a sleek website and that’s the only reason I gave them two stars. The other three missing stars are for the lesson learned not to have gone for such a misleadingly cheap course.
