I&#8217;m probably quite a lot older (in my mid-50s) than the average age of a Tefl student I guess. Despite this, I managed to make my way through the course without coming up against any significant challenges. There was a tutor available online who gave great support anyway, so if I weren&#8217;t sure about something I would email them and ask for their advice or recommendations. I completed the course with a high final grade. If I can do it then anyone can. I wouldn&#8217;t say the course is that difficult. There were moments &#8211; mainly to do with grammar topics &#8211; when I felt out of my depth, but it was never so complicated that I felt I couldn&#8217;t work out how to understand the information.
