Because of this, I chose the first one I saw which fit my budget, and the TEFL Academy just so happened to be the one I chose. Thought the course was alright (besides a poor decision to rely on Wikipedia and About.com for course content) and it was a good means to an end for me. Not really sure if I would recommend it to people starting out fresh, but it would be ideal for someone who just needs a cheap TEFL certificate.
