What I loved about this course was the interactive element with fellow trainees, creating a discussion pool where we swapped ideas and helped each other out in difficult areas of grammar awareness. I did feel that there could have been a lot more emphasis on lesson planning rather than creating cultural projects for different teaching geographic locations but I’m certain this will become invaluable for whichever country I decide will be my new home away from home.
The 150-hour TEFL course does take up almost 11 weeks. I’m not sure if everyone would be able to commit to such a long period, considering it’s a majority online TEFL/TESOL/TESL course, but if you do and can, you will love this alternative method of learning to Teach English as a Foreign Language abroad.
