TEFL Org UK review, submitted by Sarah.
Wanting to complete a 120 hour online TEFL course so I can teach online and possibly overseas, I signed up with TEFL Org. Saw their advert online and the student testimonials.
Chose the 120 because it seems this is the one the schools want you to have. Anything more is bloated study hours.
I can write that it was an OK course. There were a few bugs, and this was annoying, but the overall experience was positive. I learned about all of the different learner levels, how to teach groups and individuals, and a lot of grammar. Grammar, grammar, grammar.
The issue I have is that after getting the TEFL certificate I haven’t had any follow-up support from The TEFL Org.
I’ve reached out to TEFL Org – they know my email address because it’s the one I took the course with – but haven’t received any help at all with my job search. I’ve found it isn’t so difficult looking up language schools online, but feel that a significant amount of my time would have been saved if I had received the support that was promised to me when I purchased the course.
It was a good course and I rate it three stars. Just a big shame about the situation with the support.
